I chose to do a presentation on Felix Colgrave, an animator I recently found out about, who has inspired me.
Why I chose Felix Colgrave:
- Backgrounds
- Very pastel, and aethetic
- Soft and simple
- I used a few screencaps of his music video as backgrounds for the presentation (with credit given of course)
- His art style
- Bordeline cutesy/disturbing
- Anatomically correct - loves animals
- Eyes and eyelids
- The unsettling surrealness of his animations
- The crisp refinement of his animations, even though he works alone
- His personality (relatable)
